What is hypnotherapy? And why CB Hypnotherapy?

  

Hypnotherapy involves using hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. In this state of increased suggestibility, we can calm the busy mind and focus on the changes we want to make. By visualising and experiencing those desired feelings in our imagination, we create a powerful pathway for lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy combines cognitive behavioural techniques with hypnosis.


  Collaboration and Goal Setting:

  • We work together to identify your goals.
  • Using evidence-based cognitive behavioural techniques, we determine the best steps to achieve those goals.

 Hypnosis for Visualisation and Change:

  • During our sessions, I guide you into a relaxing and pleasant state of hypnosis.
  • You remain in control and will only accept suggestions that align with your desires.
  • Hypnosis helps you visualise and embed the positive changes you seek.

You’ll listen to and accept powerful suggestions to help you achieve your desired outcomes.

I will also support you with relaxation, breathing and self-hypnosis techniques. These tools, along with the  hypnotherapy audio recording, empower you to continue working on your goals outside of our sessions.

Children’s sessions combine hypnotherapy with age-appropriate activities.

We focus on building self-esteem and confidence in a fun and interactive way. Hypnotherapy can be more like story telling for this age group, but still effective and helpful.  After the session you will have an hypnotherapy audio recording to use.
